Artists and the Elements Course
An online art course designed to connect the elements of art, art history, and hands on, fun projects!
The Artists and the Elements is an online visual arts curriculum designed for the elementary to middle school student. A super simple supply list, printable resources, and video instruction mean you can relax knowing your child is getting a quality fine art experience.
We'll start with the basics. Each student will learn about the seven elements of art, the basic building blocks of any work of art.
I will not be walking your child through step by step craft projects but rather exposing them to great artists and learning how those artists use the elements of art in their own work
Your kiddos will finish this program not only proud of their completed work but with a sense of confidence in their own choices!
Let me walk your child through the new vocabulary and hands on experience necessary to understand each of the seven elements of art. Seven video lesson teach the seven elements of art!
Make connections from each of element of art to well known artists and their works. Videos, printable resources, read aloud books and more mean your child gets to know these seven artists and their work with no digging for resources on your part!
Seven feature projects, each taught through a series of video lessons, will give your kiddos hands on experience with a number of different techniques and materials.
These lessons are NOT crafts but will teach your child skills that they can experiment with and take on to their next creative endeavor.
